Call Requirement: Yes, Call Rotation required about 1 weekend of call per 4 weeks
Requirements :

• NC or Compact License
• 2 Years of Experience
• Electronic documentation/ Teaching Hospital Experience is required
• BLS
• ACLS preferred
• NIH preferred
• Circulate, Conscious Sedation, ICP, Vents, Critical Care Experience preferred
• RN Interventional Radiology Experience
• Previous charge experience is preferred
• Community Hospital Experience is preferred as well as Level II Trauma Experience

• Unit systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Locals Accepted
• Unit accepts 1st time travelers
• Patient ratio experience required is 1:2

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Circulate, Conscious Sedation, ICP, Vents, Critical Care Experience, RN Interventional Radiology Experience, ACLS and NIH are preferred certs. Previous charge experience is preferred. Community Hospital Experience is preferred as well as Level II Trauma Experience.

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: ELVO, Stroke, Aneurysm, Kyphoplasty, Carotid Stents, IR Diagnostics, Angioplasty, Cerebral Venograms
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Neurosurgery, Neuro interventional procedures

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC and SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 30 hours, however, orientation may be longer
SCRUBS: Provided
