\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit caring for critically-ill or injured infants, children and teens
\n• May float to NICU when needed - will typically care for "feeders and growers" including babies on oxygen or antibiotics
\n• May also float to ED patient holds
\n• Work every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation
\n• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
\n• Limited to 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
\n• 16-hour shifts available
\n• Use EPIC EMR system
\n• 2+ years of current PICU experience required
\n• Must be willing to float to NICU when needed
\n• Required certifications: PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
\n• EPIC EMR experience required
\n• Iowa nursing license required
\n• Same day interviews available
\n• Contribute professional nursing knowledge as part of interdisciplinary team through application of nursing process

The PICU is staffed by pediatric critical care doctors and includes modern amenities such as single patient rooms with private bathrooms and showers, family consultation rooms, and family lounges with kitchenettes. The facility offers patient and family-centered care with pull-out beds, reclining chairs, privacy curtains, televisions, and individual sound systems. The unit features advanced equipment with ceiling booms and efficient patient monitoring capabilities.
