Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our medical team in a pediatric setting. This position is ideal for professionals with strong mechanical ventilator management skills and a background in providing basic respiratory care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the respiratory health of our young patients in a large facility with trauma experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic respiratory care, including the management of mechanical ventilators.
• Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their individual health requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patient care.

Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist License in Pennsylvania (PA RT license).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a large facility and trauma environment.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Shift Details:

• 12-Hour Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-Call: None
• Every third weekend required
• Unpaid 30-minute break

• Expected weekly hours: 36
