\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on 36-bed telemetry unit providing cardiac monitoring and post-cardiac catheterization recovery care
\n• Patient ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery patients, 6:1 maximum ratio (may stretch to 7:1 at times)
\n• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
\n• Float to Ortho/Med-Surg units as needed (agency floats first)
\n• Work with remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps
\n• Document patient care using Meditech system
\n• Support available: PCTs on day and night shifts, unit clerks on day shift
\n• Perform chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures
\n• Must have telemetry experience with knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
\n• Dress code: Any scrubs except camo pattern
\n• Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate
\n• Follow telemetry monitoring and stroke policies
