Traveling Federal Superintendent

About the Opportunity:

With a robust pipeline of work across the country, they are seeking a dedicated Traveling Federal Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure excellence on every job site.

This is a traveling role , ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about federal construction work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all phases of federal construction projects
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, safety standards, and contract specifications
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures
• Maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and budgets
• Lead and mentor on-site construction teams
• Resolve issues efficiently to keep projects on track

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
• 10+ years of roofing experience, with a strong background in federal projects
• Experience with USACE and NAVFAC projects highly preferred
• Proficiency in roofing systems including:
  • Single-Ply (TPO, PVC, EPDM)
  • Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
  • Modified Bitumen
  • Slate and Tile
  • Standing Seam Metal Roofs
  • Wood Frame Roofs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• EM-385 certification is a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for project assignments
