BJG Electronics is looking for a Warehouse Associate lead who will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This individual will perform a variety of warehouse duties which may include packing, pulling/checking orders, replenishment, shipping and material handling, good undemanding of cycle counting, FIFO and best shipping practices, assisting in the training of new and existing personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Pick order by reading pick tickets, label and complete necessary paperwork to achieve agreed turn-round targets
• Pack orders as required by BJG work instructions or specific customer requirements
• Perform Cycle Counting, Inventory control and vendor management inventory
• Receive deliveries, check quantities, check receiving documentation
• Relocate inspected components as required by BJG work instructions
• Order and replenish consumables
• Correctly operate barcode scanners in order picking and relocating processes
• Participate in forklift certification, recertification as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with warehouse training programs
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for process improvement
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-6 years of experience in an electronic distribution center warehouse or equivalent
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office, UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform specified tasks
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work load
• Ability to count accurately and verify others work

• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment (50lbs) some of which may be heavy or awkward
