Now Hiring: General Office Assistant (Construction Field)
Ontario, CA | $22.50$25.00/hr. | Full-time, MondayFriday
A construction company in Ontario, CA is currently seeking a General Office Assistant to support their Estimating Department and leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is eager to grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing administrative support to the Estimating Department
Assisting with bid and proposal documentation
Learning to review and interpret contract bid instructions and requirements
Compiling and formatting internal documentation for contract compliance
Submitting Certified Payroll data through LCP Tracker
Coordinating insurance requirements for projects
Supporting vendor and subcontractor sourcing during bid phases
Managing calendars and coordinating meetings and calls
Performing additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of recent administrative experience in the construction industry or a related field is required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong overall MS Office skills
Previous experience with LCP Tracker preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn how to read site plans and assist with estimating
Organized, task-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with a professional and collaborative approach
Demonstrates confidentiality, sound judgment, and reliability
