About the Role

We are seeking a Behavioral Money Coach to join our Money Canvas program. In this role, you will empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to build healthier financial habits through personalized coaching and motivational techniques. You’ll combine behavioral science with digital tools to help participants achieve financial wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Behavioral Coaching

  • Conduct one-on-one virtual money coaching sessions to teach foundational money management skills.
  • Use motivational interviewing techniques to create a judgment-free space for learning and reflection.
  • Develop personalized action plans aligned with participants’ goals.
  • Pilot new coaching protocols and techniques in a test-driven environment.
  • Make referrals to additional support services when needed.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with participants, providing ongoing support and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate client data and notes in CRM systems for impact reporting.
  • Coordinate and schedule coaching appointments while managing daily communications via phone, text, and email.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage appointment calendars and input client/session data promptly.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing training.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to program policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, financial planning, economic development, social work, teaching, or related fields.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms (MS Teams, Zoom).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
