Job Description The Clinical Staff Pharmacist II provides pharmaceutical care to Baptist Health patients of all ages through medication order review, preparation, dispensing, documentation, monitoring, patient counseling, and medication reconciliation. Collaborates with patients, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and fiscally responsible patient-centered care. The Clinical Pharmacist II interprets, reviews, and processes medication orders, screens orders for appropriateness, and intervenes as warranted. Works with physicians, care managers, and other clinical staff, as part of a medical care team focusing on patient outcomes, while maintaining cost. Additionally, serves as a mentor and develops the clinical skills of junior staff. Precepts pharmacy students and technician students in collaboration with the Pharmacy management team. Participates in developing and presenting educational topics, staff development programs, and assists in performance improvement projects, drug use evaluations, formulary reviews, and research projects. Estimated pay range for this position is $55.52 - $72.18 per hour, depending on experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred. Registered Pharmacist license. Additional Qualifications Progressive pharmaceutical care experience or Pharmacy Residency preferred. Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS) certification preferred. PGY1: 3 years; PGY2: 2 additional years. Minimum Required Experience Relevant experience as specified above.
