Commercial Roofer

Commercial Roofer - $75,000-115,000 - Jackson, New Jersey

Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Roofers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, with demonstrated experience installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial roofing systems. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofs.
• Inspect roof systems for damage or wear and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Safely operate tools and equipment such as roofing torches, nail guns, and scaffolding.
• Apply waterproofing materials and ensure proper sealing of roof penetrations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with foremen and other crew members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Familiarity with various roofing systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Outdoor construction environments.
• Exposure to heights, loud noise, and varying weather.
• May require travel to different job sites
