Job Description ServiceMaster of Charleston is a disaster restoration company that specializes in the mitigation of water, fire, and mold damages. For over 36 years, we have built a reputation for performing quality work in the Charleston market.
Applicants do not need to have experience as we provide on-the-job training for the right employees. However, we are looking for people who will be on time, are great with communication, enjoy customer service, and work hard until the job gets done.
Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:30 pm plus a lot of weekend and overtime work when customers need us. There will be "On Call" responsibilities and after hours work is mandatory when needed. We have full time positions available.
Our technicians enjoy $15-25 hourly earning which includes daily bonus potential with full health benefits, 401K, paid holidays, vacation time and advancement potential.
Ideal candidates will be dependable with solid character traits, and most importantly, have a great attitude. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. A criminal background check and drug screening will be performed on every applicant.

Job Description: - Water pumping and extraction
- Mold remediation
- Baseboard and carpet cushion removal; carpet seam cutting
- Specialty drying (hardwood, plaster, concrete, etc.)
- Removing and disposing of debris
- Determining water category and class; moisture mapping
- Desiccant and heat equipment drying temporary power & HVAC use in drying
- Lead and direct others in compliance with insurance company program and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) requirements
- Cleaning after a Fire; Mold remediation
Skills/Aptitude: - Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives
- Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to coworkers

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Compensation: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
