Job Description AWG- Driver (Class A) Job Description- Make deliveries to AWG's member grocery stores while operating a truck and trailer in a safe manner. Requirements 22 years of age Minimum of eighteen (18) months commercial driving experience with a class A CDL No chargeable vehicle accidents within the past three (3) years No conviction for any offense, or violation of vehicle laws, relating to negligent driving behavior including without limitation to leaving the scene of an accident, driving without license or while suspended/revoked, excessive speeding, or serious moving violations within the past three (3) years No conviction for any offense, or violation of vehicle laws, relating to operation of a non-commercial motor vehicle while impaired by or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, transporting a controlled substance, or that is a felony within the past ten (10) years No conviction for any offense, or violation of vehicle laws, relating to operation of a commercial motor vehicle while impaired by or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, transporting a controlled substance, or that is a felony Ability to read and speak English sufficiently in order to perform all duties and functions of the job Ability to safely operate AWG vehicles and determine and execute proper cargo and equipment securing procedures Possess a satisfactory CSA points record and safety performance history Associated Wholesale Grocers
