Overview: The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for all email marketing campaigns at MCU. This role is focused on the design, setup, and deployment of marketing and transactional email campaigns. The Email Marketing Specialist will work across teams at MCU to deliver timely and personalized email communications.

Responsibilities :

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Execute end-to-end email campaigns, including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, and scheduling deployments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support email campaigns and initiatives.
• Comfortable writing concise and compelling email copy.
• Work with graphic designer to develop responsive email template layouts that adhere to email best practices.
• Load and manage email data files, ensuring personalized content through effective segmentation and targeting strategies.
• Work with Email Manager and IT to implement automated trigger campaigns, enhancing the member experience and driving engagement.
• Generate reports on email campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Lead A/B testing efforts to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, while identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned

Requirements :

• Familiarity with enterprise level Email Service Providers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus)
• Comfortable manipulating HTML email templates
• Experience loading data files and building segmentation logic
• Knowledge of email marketing best practice, including CAN-SPAM compliance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform and meet expectations while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Technologically proficient.

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 /annually
