Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the production support team, assisting with stacking, palletizing, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of finished products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: Mid Shift, Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm

What's the Job?

• Assist line operators by stacking finished products onto pallets safely and accurately
• Monitor codes, cartons, weights, and package integrity to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including equipment and work areas
• Inspect and select high-quality pallets for product shipment
• Report any production line issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift and bend, handling weights up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic understanding of food safety and manufacturing practices
• Willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
