Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel, along with digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. NOTE: This is a project-based position with an estimated duration of 18 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated upon completion of deliverables. As a NBC Sports Programming Coordinator, your responsibilities will include: NBC Sports NOW programming setup Create IDs for all content on NBC Sports NOW FAST channel Ensure content has correct metadata/artwork; place Linear Work Orders if needed Manage VOD schedules for daily shows Coordinate and build artwork/marketing assets (Photoshop experience a plus) Assist in building long-term programming plans and developing new ideas Understand and track platform data and analytics Operational duties include: Understanding schedules and making real-time adjustments Coordinate details between Production and Operations Manage ad break formats for livestreams Collaborate with partners to deliver content on Peacock and NBC Sports NOW Support programming during weekends for changes or delays Additional responsibilities: Work with Peacock Sports Programming team to ensure accuracy for Live Events and assist with related events Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience At least 1 year of relevant experience, including internships Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Desired Qualifications: Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent computer skills and adaptability to new systems Knowledge of NBC Sports and other sports formats Willingness to undergo background check and work in the U.S. Must be 18+ years old This position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
