Job Description

ATA Services Inc. is currently seeking to hire an experienced Health Educator to work on a temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico Department of Health.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: $23.00
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Work Location: In-office Las Cruces, NM

The ideal Health Educator assisting with the Adult Vaccine Team will:

• Assist with Flu, Covid, and other Adult Vaccine orders requested by Adult Vaccine Providers in NM.
• They will assist the Vaccine and Outreach Manager with other assigned tasks and duties.
• Creating newsletters and other outreach materials surrounding vaccines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be proficient in Office Suite; and highly knowledgeable in Excel.
• Have knowledge of medical terminology, requesting of medical records/medical information in verbal/written formats and HIPAA Compliance.
• Be dedicated, reliable, and able to handle a high volume of data with multiple tasks of varied priority.
• Be able to respond quickly to instructions given from staff while maintaining confidentiality of client’s files/records/charts/PHI.
• Have customer service knowledge and experience.
• Bilingual communications in English and Spanish (not required but would be helpful)
• Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude with tasks as they may change throughout the day.
• Have excellent written/verbal communication skills to efficiently communicate with internal/external staff.
