Job Description

Shapeless Studio is a boutique architecture and interior design studio that focuses on creating unique residential spaces in NYC and beyond. Please see our website and instagram for examples of our work. We are seeking a talented interior designer to add to our team. This is a full-time position, with room to grow and learn. The position will center around FF&E selections, but can also include designing custom millwork, furniture, finish selection, coordination with contractors, and other aspects of design and project managenent, depending on the strengths and interests of the candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engaging with clients to learn requirements, tastes, priorities Preparing client presentations of furniture layouts, selections, finishes, budgets Sourcing and ordering FF&E Developing technical drawing packages and specification schedules

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD (drafting) and Rhino and/or Sketchup (modeling) Superior communication, professionalism, organization, problem solving, critical thinking skills 2-5 years of professional experience
