WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Echocardiograph Technician at Prestigious Outpatient Practice in Albany, NY.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 8am-5pm.
\n
• Perform echocardiograms to exam heart valves, chambers, and blood vessels.
\n
• Ability to perform imaging cardiovascular evaluations including Holter monitoring, electrocardiograms, stress tests, transesophageal echos, and exercise tolerance tests.
\n
• Prepare patient for procedures, position patient appropriately, and explain procedure to patient.
\n
• Recognize abnormal rhythms and notify physician or clinical staff immediately.
\n
• Knowledge of setting up, operating, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Echocardiographer program.   
\n
• BLS Certification Required.
\n
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.
\n
• 2 year experience of  echocardiography experience required.
\n
