WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Oneonta, NY.

Job Function:  

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 7am to 7:30pm.
\n
• Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.  
\n
• Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.  
\n
• Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention.  
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.  
\n
• Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• All RTO must be noted on submission.
\n
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC.  
\n
• 2+ years of experience.
\n
