BOCA RATON, FL (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Amazing family in Boca Raton is seeking a mature and energetic LIVE-IN/LIVE-OUT HOUSEHOLD MANAGER/NANNY for their 2 boys; 6.5 years old and 4 years old.
Hours are Monday - Friday 11 am - 7 pm and some Saturdays from 4 pm - 11 pm. Willingness to travel and give flexibility and reliability is a must! The family has a lakehouse in Connecticut they visit in the summer, and the family would love the candidate to travel with them for 6-8 weeks for summer break and other shorter vacations.
Duties include keeping the kitchen picked up, doing the familys laundry(negotiable, family may be using a laundry service), breaking down boxes, cleaning up after the kids eat, loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, prepping family dinner, ordering groceries, helping organize spaces, running errands, comfort cooking and handling food will be a bonus. Other duties include a willingness to swim with the kids regularly there is a poll at the home(the family goes to the beach as well), coordinating schedules, and working with vendors in and outside the home. The candidate needs to be in Mom's brain! Candidates should be comfortable driving the kids to and from school and activities in a large family SUV. Mom can provide lists to share with the nanny to provide guidance but would love a nanny who is autonomous and can fill a need when they see one.
The family is Jewish and has a pescatarian diet. They want to ensure the candidate is comfortable with these practices and willing to learn and understand food handling practices. Experience with boys is a bonus! The family has a housekeeper who comes 3 times a week, so just general tidying and keeping the spaces cleaned.
The perfect candidate is warm and loving but has firm boundaries that align with the family's expectations. There is an Australian Shepherd in the home. The parents are very involved, and the children are active. Mom is a SAHM and is seeking a partner to care for the kids and keep the home running with mom.
Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom, and bathroom, with a private entrance. For candidates seeking to live with the family, candidates should not have pets or additional family they wish to bring to live in the home.
The family requests standard Tdap, MMR, + Flu vaccinations. Start date is ASAP. Benefits include PTO. Pay is $25-30/hr based on experience and whether candidates are seeking live-in or live-out.
