Highlights *Group is seeking new full-time Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway. *These physicians will join our team of professionals to provide inpatient psychiatry services. *There is an opportunity to do outpatient services if desired. *Call is: 1 weeknight per month and 3-4 weekends per year. *Inpatient psychiatry services at CVPH include an 18 bed Adult Unit and a 12 bed Child/Adolescent Unit. *Care is delivered in a multi-disciplinary approach.*The group offers excellent sub-specialty coverage with ED visits above 46,000. *Selected candidates will be responsible for direct patient care along with, potentially, supervision and teaching of child psychiatry fellows, residents, and medical students. An appreciation of theimportance of and satisfaction from working as part of an innovative service model and an ability to work collaboratively are essential. An interest in clinical research, teaching, and/or public health is a plus. Knowledge of evidence-based medical practice is essential.*Applicants must have a medical degree and be board certified/eligible in psychiatry. Subspecialty training in child/adolescent psychiatry along with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and academic settings would be preferred.
