Receiving Stocker (2nd Shift)

This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time. 

Location: Houston, TX 77051

Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Shift : - 2nd Shift: 2:00PM-11PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Receiving Stocker with direct experience handling pipes, flanges, and valves. The ideal candidate will manage incoming stock, validate merchandise, and maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Verification: Assist with unloading trucks, checking in shipments, and validating materials with a focus on pipes, flanges, and valves.
• Stock Management: Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• System Updates: Accurately document and perform inventory moves in the warehouse management system.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a safe and clean workspace by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Wear proper safety equipment and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• General Duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have hands-on experience handling pipes, flanges, and valves.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving.
• Experience operating Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Reach Trucks is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift and move objects weighing 10-50 lbs.; occasionally lift over 100 lbs. with appropriate equipment.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally sit or climb.
• Must have clear vision and manual dexterity for precise warehouse tasks.
