PeriOperative Units

• Outpatient Surgery Center PeriAnesthesia
• Outpatient Surgery Center PACU
• Outpatient Surgery Center PreOp
• Orthopedic Center at Ivy Road
• Outpatient Ambulatory - PreAnesthesia Testing and Evaluation Clinic

OPSC PACU Overview

• Fast-paced phase 1 and 2 recovery area
• Support for 12 ORs with diverse patient population
• Nurse to patient ratios follow ASPAN guidelines
• Schedule: M-F, 0700-1930; no nights, weekends, or holidays

OPSC PreOp Overview

• Schedule: M-F, 0600-1630; no nights, weekends, or holidays

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
• Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• Physical Demands: Standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping, good communication, ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.

Position Details

• Compensation: $39.90 - $53.00 Hourly
