Job Description

Location: Work From Anywhere Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract (Flexible based on candidate) Experience Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level Are you passionate about sustainability and climate-conscious business practices? We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Sustainability Analyst to help organizations evaluate and improve their environmental impact. In this role, you will support ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, sustainability reporting, and green strategy development—all from a remote setting. Key Responsibilities Environmental Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze sustainability data from internal departments, suppliers, and external databases Track key environmental metrics such as energy usage, waste, water, carbon footprint, and emissions Identify trends and gaps in sustainability performance Reporting & Compliance: Prepare reports for ESG disclosures, including GRI, CDP, SASB, and other sustainability frameworks Assist in drafting annual sustainability or impact reports for stakeholders and investors Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and reporting standards Sustainability Strategy Support: Provide data-driven insights to support the development and improvement of sustainability goals Help build models to forecast environmental outcomes based on strategic changes Conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA), materiality assessments, and benchmarking Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across departments to collect information and implement green initiatives Communicate sustainability progress to both internal and external stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner Support corporate social responsibility (CSR) and climate action campaigns Research & Innovation: Stay informed on emerging environmental technologies, green certifications, and climate legislation Research best practices for sustainable operations in various industries Suggest innovative and feasible sustainability solutions to improve overall impact Requirements Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience working in Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, LEED, GRI, CDP, B Corp, etc.) is a plus Strong interest in environmental issues and sustainable development Preferred Qualifications Experience in sustainability analysis, ESG reporting, or climate-related consulting Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or life cycle assessment software Knowledge of carbon accounting or emissions tracking platforms Experience working with global teams or on international projects Why Join Us?
