Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support K-5 students at an elementary school in Mobile, AL. This contract position runs from February 21, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a workload of 35 hours per week. The role involves working on-site at a single school location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary-age students (kindergarten through 5th grade)
  • Support Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist with screening, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered with the state's Board of Speech Examiners as an SLPA (registration images must be provided)
  • Familiarity with working in a school environment preferred
  • Experience with elementary-aged students (K-5) is a plus
  • Availability to work on-site in Mobile, Alabama
  • Must comply with all licensing and certification regulations applicable to SLPAs in the state
