As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Supervisor Government in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and performing regular patrols to support a secure environment for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with the enforcement of facility policies and procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situations that may arise within the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
