As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a trusted resource, responding to inquiries and assisting with security-related matters as they arise. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.43 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 PM - 03:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with campus staff and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
