## _**ABOUT THE ROLE**_
Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer Product & Tech Analytics team is seeking a Senior
Data Analyst who will be supporting the business through measurement,
analysis, and insight generation for our commerce and growth surface areas,
focusing on our Hulu product. This position will help the business answer key
questions about the performance of different sign-up and commerce flows,
identify patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop
recommendations to improve business performance. This analyst will work cross-
functionally with our regional marketing and business operations teams, as
well as, be a partner with data engineering and product to solve data
problems. The analyst will be instrumental in driving the business forward
through the use of analytics to optimize sign up funnel metrics and commerce
conversions across several newly expanded global tiering initiatives.
## _**WHAT YOULL DO**_
- Build analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provides critical support to the operations and decision-making for the sign-up and commerce product spaces
- Answer core business questions and provide analytical expertise on the different commerce flows on D+ and Hulu to improve the user experience and increase conversions
- Advance the analytical capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of diagnostic solutions, and deliver outstanding data insights and products
- Use data visualization tools, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Use descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis etc.) to understand cohort behaviorsvalue, and make an impact across the business.
## _**WHAT TO BRING**_
- Unbridled curiosity, high intellectual and analytical horsepower, and a passionate pursuit of analytics driven insights and business outcomes
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst in a data and analytics domain with excellent SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, advanced analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale
- Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
- Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects: taking them from vague requirements, to an impactful story, accessible across diverse audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome
- Ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, business partners, and technical colleagues
## _**NICE-TO-HAVES**_
- Masters degree in an analytical field
- Familiarity with marketing landing pages, sign-up funnel and commerce spaces
- Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership
- Consulting background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills

## _**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**_
#DISNEYTECH
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $114,900 to $154,100
per year and in New York, NY is $120,300 to $161,300 per year. The base pay
actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary
depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience among other factors. A bonus andor long-term incentive units
may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full
range of medical, financial, andor other benefits, dependent on the level and
position offered.
