The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for driving sales and business development activities to achieve and exceed economic and commercial performance targets. This pivotal role involves advising on strategies for profitable growth, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy, and establishing a robust business development approach to penetrate key markets. The VP will also be accountable for defining and achieving measurable growth targets, monitoring sales performance, and managing sales operations budgets. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the role requires partnering with operations, marketing, and strategy teams to refine the offer portfolio and enhance segment GTM strategies. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, sales leadership, or related roles is required, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets. The ideal candidate will have direct sales and operational experience in the airline industry, luxury or premium hospitality, or related sectors. Key attributes include expertise in sales processes, strategy development, and value articulation, as well as strong technical acumen and exceptional communication skills. The role demands a leader who can engage and influence senior stakeholders, and who is adept at managing complex sales cycles and large-scale strategic bids.
