Warehouse Associate – $19–$21/hr | Hands-On Work |

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule: First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 11:30 PM

A metal distribution center is hiring Warehouse Associates to operate overhead cranes and load steel beams. This is a great opportunity to get into a skilled trade, earn solid pay, and work with a tight-knit crew.

Pay & Hours

• $19–$21/hour , based on experience
• Weekly pay
• Overtime available

Job Duties

• Operate overhead cranes to lift and move steel
• Load beams onto trucks based on customer orders
• Track inventory in your assigned bay
• Keep crane clean and in working order
• Use RF scanners and pallet jacks as needed

Requirements

• 6+ months of warehouse experience
• Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• Able to lift and move heavy materials
• Prior crane experience is a plus—but training is provided

Work Environment

• Large warehouse with open truck bays (not temperature controlled)
• Team of 2–3 people per shift
• Steel-toed boots, jeans, and work shirt required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
