• Who all is in the interview process (leads, managers, etc.)? How many rounds of interviews? Two rounds first with Ravi, second with developers on the team. Described as extremely intensive.

• Top 3 requirements:

• Experience configuring Workday Payroll (i.e. done earning codes, run payroll itself, taxes, etc.)
• Experience building workday Benefits (Backend exp with crafting the module) - delivered it into production, then supported it from there

• Hands on development of the configurations in Workday
• Able to solve problems, efficient, give direction

• Nice to Have:
• Experience in large scale environments

• Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

They have a separate Configuration and Integrations teams. They have three larger teams which control the domains payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, etc.

They're looking for people who can build configurations in their Workday platform not looking for business analysts or support analysts someone who has 'gotten their hands dirty', able to solve problems and give direction, give direction for improvements as well efficient.

Looking for someone who has built the configurations themselves not just supported it delivered it into production, then supported it from there.

Configuration: how does the system act when someone submits something. i.e. you have to go in and put in direct deposit. What is the employee allowed to do/allow to see? And when it's put in where does it go? Goes to an approval path, etc. that's configuration.
