Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Direct Mail Manager with experience in managing Direct Mail campaigns. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive direct mail strategies, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals, and maximizing the effectiveness of direct mail campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic direct mail campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines
  • Lead the planning, design, and production of direct mail materials, including brochures, catalogs, postcards, and other promotional items
  • Manage the direct mail budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide regular reports on key metrics, including response rates, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve targeting, personalization, and overall campaign effectiveness
  • Oversee the maintenance and segmentation of mailing lists to ensure optimal targeting and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Stay current with industry trends, postal regulations, and new technologies in direct mail marketing.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continually improve direct mail performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant privacy laws and regulations regarding direct mail marketing
  • Lead and manage the paid media team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and successful completion of paid media projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed within scope and on schedule.
  • Work closely with various departments, such as marketing, IT, sales, and customer service, to ensure cohesive paid media strategies and operations.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and initiatives, promoting effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Represent the paid media team in senior management meetings, providing updates and insights on team performance and strategic direction.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Proven experience in direct mail marketing or similar advertising channels.
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
