About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Technology with a strong background in broadcasting, streaming, TV, and AdTech. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient server and workstation environment, managing special projects, and leading a team of IT and engineering staff. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to coach and mentor team members, and a focus on driving automation through the implementation of toolsets and workflows. The Head of Technology will also be expected to provide on-call and after-hours support as part of a rotation. Applicants for the Head of Technology position at the company should have a college degree or higher, with a minimum of 5 years of technology experience, including at least 2 years in server and automation orchestration, technical management, and IP monitoring. Strong leadership skills are essential, with a proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and managing a technical team. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, is required. The role demands the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks, as well as the capacity to communicate technical information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. The Head of Technology must be adaptable, open to change, and capable of challenging the status quo in a productive manner.
