Overview Jefferies’ Technology Investment Banking Group provides a full range of investment banking services to public and private technology companies, including M&A and equity/debt financing. Analysts participate in day-to-day transaction execution on lean deal teams, with exposure to live deals and client interaction. The group covers subsectors such as Enterprise Software, Networking and Hardware, Communications Technologies, Technology Enabled Transportation, Consumer Internet, Digital Media & Interactive Entertainment, Semiconductors & Electronics, Omnicommerce, Business Services and Financial Technology & Payments. Primary Responsibilities Directly support senior bankers with day-to-day transaction due diligence and execution Draft and participate in marketing / new business pitches, confidential offering memoranda and management presentations Develop target lists for potential buyers, investors and strategic partners Conduct in-depth industry research and trend analysis Perform complex financial modeling and valuation analysis Mentor and train junior Analysts Required Background Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record 1-3 years investment banking transaction advisory execution experience Highly motivated, confident and passionate Lives in San Francisco or willing to relocate Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Desired Experience / Skills Support engagement teams in equity financing, sell-side, buy-side and general advisory M&A engagements within the Technology Enabled Services investment banking group Create pitch materials Salary The salary range for this role is $110,000-$125,000.
