Job Title: School Counselor
Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
Compensation and Contract Details:
Hourly rate: $30-$35 per hour.
Contract duration: 44 weeks with the ability to extend based on performance and school needs.
Position Overview: We are seeking qualified School Counselors to join our clients team at in Sierra Vista, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential counseling services to students within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being.
Develop and implement comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student development and achievement.
Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
Stay informed about educational trends, resources, and best practices in school counseling.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
State licensure/certification as a School Counselor (Arizona Department of Education Educators Certificate) or Social Worker (Arizona State Social Worker License).
Experience working in educational setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
