Psychologists are needed in Multiple School Locations throughout Arizona!

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suit your experience and skillset
• Contract through the 2024/2025 school year 
• The contract follows the academic district calendar - 40 hours per week 
• Mon-Fri. (1-2 days remote)

Pay:

• $65-$75/hr.
• Total for the 24/25 SY: $93,000 to $108,000

Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• AZ Psychology License.
• AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain
• Experience with preschool and school-aged populations is preferred.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions: 

• Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in the school setting for initial psychological assessment and for reevaluation of children in special education programs.
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students of intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Communicate psychological assessment results and recommendations both verbally and through written reports.
• Participate in eligibility and program decisions in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
• Participate in and contribute to professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
