We are seeking an experienced e-commerce SEO Specialist to manage and optimize the online presence of agency clients across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Do:

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SEO strategies, including content optimization, local SEO management, technical SEO, reputation management, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Optimization: Write and optimize SEO-specific website copy for landing pages, product categories, FAQs, footers, page titles, meta descriptions, and more based on keyword research. Collaborate with our Content team on blog content strategy and execution.
  • Local SEO: Manage local landing pages, listings, and business information to ensure NAP consistency across various platforms including, but not limited to: Google, Apple (Maps and voice search), Yelp, and Bing. Experience with Yext is preferred but not necessary.
  • Reputation & Local Listing Management: Monitor and respond to online reviews, coordinate with clients on review resolutions, and manage business information updates. Report spam and validate map listings.
  • Competitive Analysis : Assess competitor SEO strategies. Identify our clients' strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities based on your analysis.
  • Technical SEO: Upload and manage XML sitemaps, set up 301 redirects, work with our Development team to implement schema markup, identify and fix technical SEO issues.
  • Website Management: Manage category visibility based on seasonality/search trends, aid with delivery blocks and management of business hours ahead of big floral holidays like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
  • Strategizing for the Future: Identify and secure linkbuilding opportunities to improve local Organic visibility. Stay updated on algorithm changes and their impacts to our clients and the floral industry. Identify emerging trends in the SEO space and develop strategies to move our clients forward in an ever-changing world. Knowledge of AI/LLMs, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc. is highly encouraged.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reports on completed tasks, KPIs, client performance, and overall SEO performance using tools like Looker Studio and Google Analytics.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with local SEO and online reputation management
  • Experience with structured data implementation (schema markup) and technical website optimizations
  • Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and site architecture best practices for retail/e-commerce
  • Experience creating and interpreting SEO reports for audiences of varying skill levels
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an agency setting
  • Proficiency with the following SEO tools is preferred: Yext; Screaming Frog SEO Spider; a hrefs; BrightLocal; Google Search Console; Google Business Profile; Google Looker Studio; Google Analytics 4; Bing Webmaster Tools; Bing Places for Business; Productivity tools like Basecamp, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Excel
