We’re seeking a Senior SEO Manager to join our Performance Marketing organization and play a pivotal role in accelerating Intercom’s growth. As the owner of the SEO function, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of our global SEO efforts—directly impacting lead generation for our sales teams and driving sign-ups through our self-serve funnel. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape a key function at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and revenue in a company that’s scaling rapidly and leading innovation in AI-powered customer service.
In this role, you’ll bring a strategic, data-driven approach to scaling SEO as a growth lever while ensuring operational excellence and strong cross-functional alignment. You’ll have the autonomy to define our roadmap, lead execution, KPIs and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to influence content, campaigns, and technical infrastructure.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $148,000 -$172,000. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Intercom has a hybrid working policy. We believe that working in person helps us stay connected, collaborate easier and create a great culture while still providing flexibility to work from home. We expect employees to be in the office at least two days per week.
