Lansdowne Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Assistants who want to put their well-rounded skills to use across surgery, exams, and outpatient care —while building meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

What You'll Do:

  • Split your time between assisting in surgery, supporting exams, and providing hands-on patient care
  • Perform radiology, phlebotomy, SQ injections, and collect laboratory samples
  • Assist with surgical setup, monitoring, and post-operative care
  • Support inpatient care by monitoring patients and ensuring comfort and safety
  • Help maintain efficient exam room flow and communicate clearly and compassionately with clients

This position is ideal for Veterinary Assistants who are skilled, proactive, and team-oriented —ready to contribute to an efficient, supportive hospital where quality care comes first.

Schedule: This is a Full-Time position, offering either a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. NO WEEKENDS!

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Radiology
    • Surgical setup and assisting
    • Phlebotomy
    • SQ injections
    • Laboratory sample collection
    • Inpatient care
