Job Description

Amazon PPC Specialist

True Classic is a tech-first apparel company on a mission to help the everyday man look good and feel good in premium clothing at an accessible price. We started with the perfect fitting t-shirts that put us on the map, and now bring that same dedication to fit and feel to everything else he needs to get dressed. Poised at the cutting-edge of technology and AI, we lean on data (and a dash of humor) to drive the most seamless, customer-centric shopping experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Amazon PPC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Amazon advertising campaigns to drive growth, increase sales, and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). You will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to develop strategies, create campaigns, and monitor performance to achieve business objectives.

At True Classic, we are a virtual first company that values flexibility, collaboration, and innovation. While we do have a headquarters located in Calabasas, CA for employees who prefer in-person interaction, we also embrace the benefits of a remote work environment. As such, this specific position is open to remote candidates who possess the necessary skills, experience, and dedication to contribute to our team's success. Join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of our company from wherever you are!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage Amazon PPC campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing search terms that will drive traffic and increase conversions.
  • Bid Management: Optimize bids and budgets across campaigns to improve ad performance, maximize ROI, and reduce wasted spend.
  • Ad Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded (e.g., ACOS, ROAS, CTR).
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and Amazon's advertising best practices, identifying opportunities to out-perform competitors.
  • A/B Testing: Test different ad creatives, copy, and placements to determine the most effective combinations for target audiences.
  • Listing Optimization: Collaborate with the content team to ensure product listings are optimized for SEO and align with ad campaigns.
  • Budget Management: Manage monthly budgets, allocating resources to maximize performance and meet business objectives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and actionable insights on campaign performance, trends, and areas of improvement to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns with a successful track record of improving sales and optimizing ACOS.
  • Tools: Proficient with Amazon Advertising Console and other relevant Amazon PPC tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellics).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to provide clear and actionable insights to the team.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
  • Certifications: Amazon Advertising certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software for reporting and analysis.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in eCommerce or working with Amazon FBA sellers.
  • Understanding of Amazon SEO, listing optimization, and brand management.
  • Experience with other digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is a plus.
Company Overview:

True Classic launched in late 2019 and has grown to become one of the hottest direct-to-consumer men's apparel brands, continuing to experience rapid growth despite changes to digital advertising and the macroeconomic environment. You will spend extended periods at a computer, so a comfortable and ergonomic workspace is essential. We provide the necessary tools and support to ensure a productive and collaborative virtual work experience. Additionally, the company holds quarterly all-hands meetings in California, which you would be expected to travel to and attend in person.

Our mission is to empower everyone to show up as their best self.
